Your bill already knows the size of your installation
Sized properly, an installation covers 50 to 100 % of what a villa consumes, depending on the number of batteries and day/night usage. Three figures are enough to set the power: your ONEE meter reading, your peak hours and the roof's orientation. We work from those readings, and we tell you plainly the power they call for — never more to pad the bill, never less to dangle a teaser price.
Price transparency
How much does solar cost for a villa, and how long does it take to pay back?
For a typical residential bill (1,000 to 10,000 MAD/month), an installation typically costs between 30 000 MAD and 375 000 MAD and pays back in 3 to 7 years, for the self-consumed share — beyond that, the electricity produced costs almost nothing for the rest of the 30-year performance warranty.
Here are the orders of magnitude recorded on our residential sites — never a quote. The exact figure comes after the technical visit; and if your profile doesn't make solar pay off, we'll tell you before you've signed anything at all.
Real example: ref. NC-10/25 — 3,72 kWc, Nouaceur, October 2025
Real example: ref. 236 — 5,68 kWc, El Jadida, March 2026
Real example: ref. 400 — 11,36 kWc, Casablanca, April 2026
Real example: ref. 468 — 17,04 kWc, El Jadida, April 2026
Under 1 000 MAD a month, the payback most often exceeds 7 years: we say so rather than force the sale. Beyond 10 000 MAD, consumption leaves the residential frame and calls for a dedicated study — see Business.
The investment horizon
What the 30 years deliver, year by year
The manufacturer guarantees panel performance over 30 years (a linear warranty). Take a villa with a 2 000 MAD monthly bill: 6 kWc come to around 60 000 to 75 000 MAD and wipe out some 12 000 to 16 000 MAD of electricity every year (at the ONEE utility tariff). Four to six years to pay it back; then, over the twenty-four to twenty-six years that remain, the kilowatt-hour costs almost nothing — there's just one inverter to replace once over the lifetime.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions — residential solar
Maintenance frequency
Does a residential installation need regular maintenance?
The baseline is already covered by the real-time production monitoring shipped with every installation: we see an anomaly before you do, on an automatic alert. Beyond that, a scheduled maintenance visit (panel cleaning in particular) exists as a contract — the exact cadence, response time and price are still pending founder validation, so we publish no figure until it is settled. See the Maintenance & monitoring page.
How the price is calculated
How is the price of a residential installation calculated?
The price follows the power, and the power follows your bill — never a price per square metre of roof. The online assessment gives a first range in 60 seconds from your monthly bill; the exact figure comes after the technical visit, which checks the roof and the equipment retained.
What’s included / excluded
What is included in a Taqinor installation?
The equipment fitted (panels, inverter, battery where relevant), the mounting structure, the install by our team, the full technical file on delivery (single-line diagrams, cable sizing, list of protections) and personal access to real-time production monitoring.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Accidental damage or an external impact, an intervention by a third party not authorised by Taqinor, a clear lack of maintenance, a force-majeure event (a matter for your home insurance, not our hardware warranty) and normal wear beyond the guaranteed performance thresholds. Indicative list, to be confirmed — see the Warranties page for detail.
Timelines
How long between first contact and installation?
Three steps, straightforward: first a 60-second assessment that returns a first range, then a direct WhatsApp exchange with a technician (roof photos included), finally the technical visit, the full free assessment and the quote. You speak to the person who sizes the system, not a call centre that will call back.
Warranties
What warranties cover a residential installation?
Panels: 12 years product and 30 years linear performance (≥ 87.4 % of initial power at 30 years). Inverter and battery: 10 years. Galvanised steel structure: 20 years. Taqinor installation and labour: 2 years. The breakdown by component is below and on the Warranties page.
